2 lbs. Powdered Sugar
3/4 Cup (1-1/2 Sticks) Butter or Margarine
1 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1/2 Cup Milk
1-1/2 Tablespoons Vanilla Extract
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
In a medium saucepan, heat all ingredients over low heat, stirring until smooth. It will seem too thick, but as you heat and stir it, it will become thinner. Spread mixture in a greased 11" x 7" pan. Cool completely and cut into squares.
note: this can also be made in the microwave. Melt butter in a large measuring cup. Add cocoa and stir well. Add milk, vanilla and salt and stir. Add powdered sugar and stir well. Spread in an 11 x 7 pan (or a loaf pan). Work quickly when using the microwave-it gets hard to stir it if you take too long!
